Dear Ladies, You are Most Important !!
Each one of us is a product of our environment and women especially carry extra baggage of social & cultural norms about each and every aspect of their life.
When it comes to their basic roles, they are always seen as care givers. This concept extends to mean for most women that they continue to take care of home & all family members. In many cases it also means that women virtually neglect their own needs, both physical and psychological to fit into this stereotype of a worthy woman. Our literature and media has also contributed a fair share in reinforcing this stereotype.
However, its high time that we all women come out of this shell. We must understand that we must redefine our roles. The caregiver has to be the healthiest and strongest person in the family. It would be a complete disaster if the best support person of the house collapses and takes down all others with her.
Hence dear ladies, please do a favour to your families & yourself but take utmost care of yourself. There is no virtue in eating late or less or neglecting your sleep. There is also no great wisdom in taking on more work than what you can handle just to please someone who wants to be lazy. Put your best foot forward and leave it at that.
Also dear ladies, please take time out for yourself relax mentally also. Do things that fascinate you like dancing, singing, painting, gardening, reading, writing, or anything else. Your “Me-Time” should be non negotiable part of your life.
In all I would say dear ladies, you are very precious. Don't sacrifice yourself in the name of routine. Be responsible towards all your duties but don't forget to be responsible towards yourself.
Ultimately, you are the most important person in your life.
