Had some clarity and the vision play out in my mind for my silly Star Wars Rebels self insert and her lore this weekend after listening to "The View Between Villages" again 🐺✨. And just had to sketch it out before I lost it (I have zine art to keep working on, I can't get distracted anymore lol)~ 🥲

I really hope I got the Mando'a translation correct, there was two words that came up for home, yaim and yaim'ol, where the latter leans more to "return, homecoming", and preferred the context of the second due to the circumstances of my self insert's lore and why she would say that to her father's beskar armor.

I also concluded more or less the style home of her clan, definitely old ruins/castle-like architecture built high into the mountains and covered in large tall forest trees. And fitting terrain for her lyca-beast side of her family. 🐺🏔️🏰

🌈 EZRA BRIDGER You give him a bright blue and orange bracelet with chunky letters that say “SPACE CRAB 🦀💫” and he just beams. “Is this because of Lothal?? Wait. Are we best friends now?? Can I make you one??” Absolutely makes you a return bracelet. It’s tangled. The colors are fighting. It says “JEDI SWAG.” You treasure it like gold. Starts making them for everyone. Wears yours all the time. Gives Sabine one that says “COOLEST ART NERD 💖” and plays it off all cool like “Whatever, it’s no big deal” while trying not to explode.

🌈 SABINE WREN You give her a sleek black, purple, and green bracelet with little paint splatter beads and it says “💣 ART BOMB 💣” She laughs so hard you actually worry she's going to fall backwards and she immediately makes you one back that’s somehow professionally crafted and color-coded like it came from a Mandalorian bead forge. Casually wears yours on her boot. Never mentions it. But touches it before missions. Saves Ezra’s bracelet in her paint kit. “For inspiration.” Sure, Sabine.

🌈 KANAN JARRUS You hand him a chill earth-tone bracelet with a crystal bead and the word “SPACE DAD.” He just sighs deeply. “…Did Hera put you up to this?” Nope. All you. He softens. Puts it on like it’s a solemn Jedi vow. Pretends it’s no big deal. Teaches you how to make knots that hold “even in battle.” Gives you that “proud dad” nod when he sees you wearing yours. You melt.

🌈 HERA SYNDULLA You give her a gorgeous green, orange, and gold piece with flight-themed beads and the phrase “💚 MOM OF THE GHOST 💚” She actually hugs you. You know the one, the one that makes you feel like you can now conquer the Galaxy. “This is so thoughtful, thank you.” Displays it proudly on her lekku when she’s flying. Secretly considers it good luck. Definitely starts a small collection. She attaches the ones Sabine and Ezra are making her in the cockpit like they're air fresheners. Keeps trying to pretend she’s “too busy” for craft night but always shows up with snacks and the best bead selection.

🌈 CHOPPER You make one. You put it on him. It says “SASSY METAL CHAOS.” He throws it at a wall. You tape it back on. He pretends to hate it. …You catch him repositioning it so it shows up better in mission footage. Later adds a second bracelet made of parts he scavenged. It spells “💥 KILL 💥” in red and black beads. You accept it with a formal bow.

🌈 ZEB ORRELIOS You give him a chunky purple and gold one with spiky texture beads and the phrase “HONORABLE HIMBO.” He looks at it. Squints. Grunts. “Fine. I’ll wear it. But if Ezra says anything, I’m chuckin’ him out the airlock.” Definitely wears it on his bicep like a war trophy. Secretly touched. Picks you up in a bear hug whenever you make new ones. “You’re alright, kid.”

🌈 CALLUS (Post-Redemption Arc) You nervously offer a sleek, dark-toned bracelet that says “HOT EX-IMPERIAL” in tiny silver beads. He blinks. “…I suppose I deserve that.” Wears it with quiet pride. Hera teases him about it. Zeb won’t stop grinning. Later gives you one in return. It’s neat, well-balanced, and says “HOPE” in Aurebesh. You sob.

🌈 HONDO OHHNAKA You hand him a sparkly gold and red bracelet that says “LEGAL-ISH BUSINESSMAN.” He gasps. “You understand me so well!” Immediately makes you one with beads shaped like credits and a tiny skull. It says “BEST INVESTMENT.” You are now business partners. You don’t remember agreeing to that. It’s fine.

🌌 BONUS – SABEZRA SHIPPER MOMENT 🌌

You give Ezra and Sabine matching bracelets that say “STAR TWINS 💫” — because you’re a menace who loves chaos and you ship them harder than the Ghost jumps to hyperspace.

They both go weirdly quiet.

Ezra: “Star… twins?” Sabine: “Twins?” You: “Yup 😊😊” Ezra: “…like, siblings?” You: “✨Metaphor✨” Sabine: “Is it though.”

They both wear the bracelets anyway. But suddenly Ezra is walking around like he’s just been emotionally stabbed. Sabine? Acting totally normal. Calm. Cool. Untouchable.

…Until Ezra tries to casually “lose” his bracelet during a mission and she immediately throws him a replacement. It’s even prettier. Says “NOT MY BROTHER 😘” in Mandalorian script. You die laughing.

Ezra turns beet red. Kanan: sighs in Jedi Dad™ Hera: “I’m just saying, they’ve got chemistry.” Chopper: [plays wedding march sarcastically]

And now Sabine starts making new bracelets for Ezra weekly. One day it’s “BLUE EYES 💙” next it’s “NERF HERDER 💥” Ezra wears them all. Like trophies. Like love letters. One says “💖 Property of Mandalore 💖” and Zeb just loses it.

Eventually, Ezra gives her one back. It says: “WRATH OF THE SUN 💘”

She wears it on her glove. In battle. On purpose. No one says a word. But you all know.
