been doing milkshake and julia doodles between school projects for funsies.. i wanna make more comic strips sooo bad. this summer…. after classes end…….. soon…………….

Here is my gift for @bart1607 for the 2026 ace attorney spring swap!!! YAYYY!!!

I loved all the prompts they submitted so I did two!

The first is something with the Skye sisters, specifically some supportive big sister Lana :) I based this on the saying about how cooking is an art and baking is a science, I thought it fit with them both nicely. I loved doing the little details on their fridge!

I realized I never posted this project I did last fall! Basically it’s like those parachutes that many people played with as kids, but it’s also been used to build blanket forts :) that part was very important because I wanted people to connect with each other through play. The actual sheet is a secondhand king sized bedsheet that I embroidered using a digital embroidery machine. The designs used are all from notes or drawings that I’ve been given, from current and past friends, campers, students, and family. I was very inspired by my art history class in which we learned more about neolithic art, specifically cave paintings and dolmens.

My amazing and talented friend @infinite-art made a little ace attorney comic featuring my piece :)

I've included detail pictures of some of the embroideries on the sheet, as well as some of my early concept sketches. I initially planned for the piece to be stationary, but my class had the idea to use it as a parachute instead. Since it's a sheet, it's very portable and I have brought it with me to different groups of people to interact with it :)
