He bows again, shallow, and says “I think I have an idea.”

You’ve barely taken two steps out the side door when a once-familiar, now-familiar voice stops you. “Going somewhere, pretty boy?”

You look up, and Jett is sitting on the tree in front of you, sprawled on the branches like the Chesire Cat. Her smile matches. She jumps down and lands nimbly in front of you, silently. “I thought you might pull something like this,” she says. “I’ve been out here since day one of you leaving Viper’s nest.”

“Am I that predictable?” You ask, amused.

Last song: I’m 99% sure it was something from my D&D wizard’s playlist, but I don’t remember what song so I’m just gonna say “Brother” by Kodaline. In terms of what song my brain has been playing, though, the answer is “Yang Khu Kan.”

Last movie: Sebastian I swear I’m not copying you but I’m 99% sure the last movie I actually finished watching was Disclosure.

Currently craving: Hmmmm. Possibly sleep? Actually wait, scratch that, I’d love to pet a cat right now.

Currently reading: A Taste of Honey by Kai Ashante Wilson. Also like…several nonfiction books, because why read one book at a time when you could read 3-5!
