though I can’t stand both jikook and taekook shippers, there’s a pompous arrogance about jikookers that just boils my blood. the quote above was a response to an ask from one of the blogs y’all live by.

 it’s very very bizarre to rationalize taehyung’s actions as fanservice when Jimin’s literally the king of fan service. if I were y’all I’d stay away from this topic entirely.

but this is exactly my issue with shippers. all you do is degrade other relationships and bonds in the group just to elevate your delusional beliefs. that quote above paints Taehyung as a fake individual whose actions towards a member are motivated by pleasing fans.

 not to make a case for taekookers but everyone and their mother knows Taehyung and fan service don’t go together in the same sentence. fans have asked him to change so many things about himself and which ones has he done? none. and you think this same man exaggerates his relationships just to cater to fans? don’t make me chuckle. 

now Jimin. Jimin remains unrivaled at pleasing his fans. showing abs, sweet talking army, flirting with the camera, and so on. and what do majority of his fans support? jikook. if there’s a chance that shipping has an influence on a member’s behavior, it’d be Jimin.

when he tweeted about namjin, it wasn’t only evidence that’s he’s aware of shipping (they all are) but that he’s capable of playing into it himself

this person said “TH especially is aware of how TK gains attention”. I see jikook shippers are still playing the underdogs. pretending like jikook is this niche side of the fandom that gets brushed under the rug when the ship is on par with taekook on social media. the toxicity is on equal footing 

if taehyung “plays along to it” like this person alludes to, then frankly he’s doing a terrible job. Again, not to make a case for taekook shippers, but when was the last time he shared a selfie with jungkook? that’s the easiest most convenient form of fan service so why isn’t he doing it? but i guess taehyung can’t possibly show real affection towards Jungkook BECAUSE JIKOOK IS REAL Y’ALL 

this is why shipping gets to me. imagine treating your friend with genuine affection and then have others accuse you of ulterior motives.

Asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction.

Not a lack of libido or sex drive. Not a lack of sex-positivity. Not a lack of the physiological processes that cause erections, tenting, production of vaginal lubrication, or other things of that nature.

Can asexual people feel or have a lack of those things? Sure.

Do they all? No. Are they defined by those? No.
