I just wanted to say thank you for having the courage to talk about a subject many of us can relate to and have struggled profoundly with. I have been thinking about the Variety article and the documentary I think possibly every minute since I read it. You are so brave and it’s in moments like this when your voice is the loudest. Your voice can be heard when ours isn’t most of the time. Your voice is our voice and your experience serves as proof for deniers. We are struggling. And this is something that transcends so many divisions of society and has led to profound sadness in so many innocent souls, including yours and mine. You have done so much positive in my life that there isn’t a way to qualify it. But this, your bravery in a public way to share your experience as best you can, this is something else. If you aren’t proud of yourself yet, i’m forcing you to be that now. You are battling your demons and you are winning. But you are battling ours as well. You are my hero. Thank you for speaking your truth and revolutionizing our world. I love you.
