I maintain a list of fics that are my all-time favourites. I don't do this via the site, since it also includes FFN links and Quotev links, so I don't know if something gets deleted or not. But one of these fics is no longer available on AO3, and it's heartbreaking.

Gorgug's design is very good. I really like how he looks in the Webtoon. I really like how he and Ragh look very similar, because they're both half-orcs.

What I don't like is how Gorgug is portrayed. Because our first interaction with Gorgug in the podcast is this gloomy teenager who's in a house that's too small for him, with parents that don't understand him, who feels out-of-place and lost. And in the Webtoon, the first time we see him he goes into a rage and suddenly he's this big looming figure. It's not until chapter three that we see him as he is, when he's with Kristen.

Also, the fact that his Webtoon introduction panel is him in a rage just feels wrong to me, as does that fact that his panel includes the motif of an artificer, which (SPOILERS!) he doesn't multiclass into until late season 2.

Fabian is pretty spot on!

There's a few clothing choices that feel off. The Aguefort Owlbears jacket just looks wrong to me, but it's close enough that it doesn't matter too much. The odd thing is that the rest of the Bloodrush team have the correct jacket, but Fabian has the wrong one. Also- what's with the odd glove? I can see how the hand wraps are sourced from the official art, but I don't know what the deal with the glove is?

I have so many complaints.

I am, first and foremost, a Riz fan. I have been since I started listening to Dimension 20.

They did my boy fucking dirty.

Look at him! I don't even know where to start!

I guess with the clothing? Okay, so first off he isn't in his usual two-piece suit. Riz, in the podcast, is known to wear a two-piece suit. Shirt, tie, waistcoat, pants, even the formal fucking shoes. and a belt. In all the official art of the first season, he wears a belt. The webtoon has stripped him of his waistcoat, and given him fucking suspenders. He looks cool. Riz is not cool, not yet. Riz is "The Briefcase Kid", not- not this cool miniature spy.

Second, Riz's actual features. His eyes are too small, and his ears are too small, and overall I'm just a little disappointed honestly.

We do see his briefcase in the Webtoon (thankfully), and I like that they included his arquebus in his intro panel. But that's it. That's all they get right.

Look, the first thing I'm going to comment on here should be pretty obvious to any fan of D&D. Why is Fig listed as a "Half-Devil" when she's a Tiefling? My partner suggested it was a copywrite issue, however the concept of "Tiefling" (including the name!) falls under the Wizards of The Coast "Systems Reference Document", which is a list of the aspects of D&D that fall under the OGL / Creative Commons licencing. The term Tiefling is free use under the CC-BY-4.0 licence- that is to say, as long as it is mentioned somewhere that the term comes from "Dungeons and Dragons, as created by Wizards of The Coast".

Honestly, that and the lack of guitar are my main issues with Fig's design. Again, she's a caster-class (bard), and she doesn't have her spellcasting focus!

What did they do to her. Where is her tie-dye :(

Okay, but in all seriousness, they butchered my girl.

First off, her mini and her official art are both heavier-set than she is in the Webtoon. Now, I know that this is a thing Webtoon does, where they are allergic to having fat protagonists, but like, c'mon. She's not even fat in any of the other art, she's just not skinny! And she's what, 13, 14, at this point? She's not meant to be skinny!!!

Also, similar to Adaine, she doesn't have her casting focus on her in the comic. Her staff is her focus, but it's just- not there in the Webtoon? I like that they've included the corn motif, but she's a bible-belt girl, she should be showing off the corn motif, not just letting it show subtly.

The odd one out, of course, is the first (top-left) panel. That's the webtoon introduction panel. The others are the official Adaine mini from the tabletop shots (top-right), and the art of the Abernant family (left-to-right: Angwyn, Arianwen, Aelwyn, and Adaine) from the first podcast episode.

Why are Adaine's ears so small? In all the official art of the podcast, her ears are pretty fucking noticeable. And yet, when it reaches a webtoon, she's an anime elf. Compared to ears that make up half her head in the art & her mini, they're just pointy human ears when it comes to the webtoon.

Also, her orb is tiny. There's a whole fuss made about "how is she meant to carry that" in the podcast, and yet when it comes to the webtoon, once again, it's shrunk. That thing is hand sized at best. I don't really want to get into the whole symbolism of her parents giving her this orb as a gift but also just not considering her needs at all when it comes to giving that gift, but shrinking it in the webtoon almost takes away from their first impression, to me. (Also, we haven't even seen her carrying the orb in the first three chapters? They're meant to be the equivalent of the introduction, but her casting focus isn't even there?)

Finally, the Hudol uniform. Honestly, I quite like that aspect of the redesign. It makes her easier to draw repetitively, and removing that large Hudol emblem, while taking away from the iconography of Hudol as this over the top fancy-schmancy high school for posh nerds, works.

That's why the older trolls carapaces are so dark. They're covered in black mould.

John did not have black mould in his house growing up- Dadbert was very thorough in his cleaning of the house, and would frequently tell John "The only thing that's no joke is cleaning! Cleaning and taxes, specifically, son."

That said, he absolutely gained black mould once in the medium. It was everywhere.
