“I already clean up what you miss anyway.” He yelled back over his shoulder. David started tinkering on one of the projects that he’d been working on. He worked for a few minutes before something prickled the back of his neck. It was really quiet… too quiet….

“Frank?” He called out to the other man. Silence was never good, especially where Frank was concerned. It usually meant he was plotting, or bleeding. One of the two.

Frank was brooding in his bedroom with Loot laying down on the bed. He was tired, sore and annoyed. Frank heard his name being called but he couldn’t be arsed to move or call back so instead he texted David. “Fuck you I hate your stinking guts you jerk face.”

“Wait…. no no no… when did Loot become our child. If I remember correctly, you just strolled in here one night, followed by a coyote… There is no our here Frank. I never asked for a coyote that could one night eat me in my sleep.” David sighed and ran a hand through his hair, “Besides, what does that have to do with you going on a mission and getting bloody? I thought you liked that sort of thing… ‘oh look at me I’m a big scary man.’“ 

The last words were said in a mock gravelly voice that sounded surprisingly like Frank, while David pretended to beat his chest. God this man could be frustrating sometimes. David waved him off and turned back to his computer.

“NO I brought him back from the West Coast you jerk face. YOU know what. YOU get to clean the bones up next time Loot has a human treat.” He grumbles, “I just wish I had some help man okay?”He mummurs as he goes to turn to go hang out with his baby.

David sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose between his forefinger and thumb. He had a headache coming on, and his dick of a partner wasn’t making it any better… oh wait, that’s right they weren’t partners. The taller man took a long three seconds to breathe before turning to look at Frank. “First of all, I’m tech support. I’m best utilized hanging back, and being your extra eyes and ears. Second of all, I seem to remember the last time I went out there with you that you were complaining that I was just in the way… THIRD of all. You won’t feed me to Loot. You wouldn’t take the risk on giving your ‘precious baby’ indigestion…”

Frank grumbles as he listens to the other male. “Loot is my child..no no not mine OUR child David. We must tend to him together. He has to love us both or he could very well eat us in our sleep. We need a happy loot which is why I spend five hundred bucks on raw meat for that jerk of a coyote i oh so love.”
