I'm so happy that I can finally tell the world that I had the privilege of working on STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS!!! Not to get too sentimental, but way, way back when I was a little Faulkner I saw two movies that had a profound impact on me, and would dictate what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Those movies were "Star Wars Ep. VI: Return of the Jedi".... and "The Mask" (hahaha). In what seems like a weekly ritual, I'd wake up on Saturday morning and put in my favorite VHS tapes to rewatch the adventures of Luke, Han and Leia evade AT Walkers on Hoth, daringly escape the clutches of Darth Vader on the Death Star, and walk the plank over the Sarlaac Pit on Jabba's skiff. These movies provided an unparalleled sense of adventure that thrilled me, and watching them with my family remains as one of my most powerful childhood memories. Working on this movie was literally a dream come true, and I'm lucky to have worked with such an outstanding group of colleagues and friends. I'll cherish and remember this experience forever. And now I wait patiently for a proper sequel to "The Mask" to complete my life's journey (at A Galaxy Far Far Away)

Tonight I went to the world premiere of 'The Martian.' It was an amazing movie and experience, a return to form for Ridley Scott, and our studio got a shoutout in the credits! So I can say I was lucky enough to work on a couple shots and you should check it out in 3D if you can. #tiff (at Roy Thomson Hall)

Tonight's plans consisted of going to a bar to watch the opening NFL game at 8:30pm, and getting an MRI at 1:00am. Gotta love that the bar cost more than the MRI #fofree #canadafigureditout #🇨🇦 (at St. Joseph's Health Centre)
