toff and mack’s bond is still one of my favorite things ever. not just how close they are and how toff literally spent time in vancouver with mack during the off-season and how they’re pretty much glued together in the locker room and always roughing around with each other during breaks, but just how clearly toff adores that kid. bragging about mack on his stories and instagram, being the first to like anything complimentary about mack, joking about how mack’s an idiot but also always being the first to jump in if anything veers away from being playful and saying mack’s the greatest kid. the way he kissed mack’s helmet and then hugged mack again later as mack snuggled into his chest before the three stars throw. also the way mack kept waiting like a lost puppy during the group hug to get his turn with toff because the other guys tackled toff before he got his chance and he needed his head bump, and toff made sure to give it to him. they love each other SO much
