To apologize is the reason he gave, but I don’t believe it.
He’s repeatedly crossed boundaries with Jacopo. He’s used spells that forced Jacopo to think of him in a positive light. Worse than that, he kidnapped Jacopo and wiped his memories. Just because he could. Even if he is better now, it’s only because he’s lost his own memories. I don’t trust him.
That makes sense. Jacopo bartered for a spell from me some time ago that should make him less susceptible to such trickery, if that makes you feel any better. Regardless, I will keep watch. Particularly on the little ones.
