I don't think my attraction influences my gender, it doesn't feel like it's any important factor - but my gender does definitely influence my attraction! Perhaps not in the experience of attraction itself, but definitely in the way that I conceptualize it. I don't consider myself gay or straight, which makes the experience of talking about and considering my attraction interesting for sure.
I tried my hand at making a toric/NBLM flag redesign with more visually distinctive stripes. Like the original flag design(s), the purple and green stripes represent non-binary identities, while the light blue stripe represents attraction to men. Iโve included 4 versions of the flag: 3 with the interlocking male/non-binary symbols in different sizes, and one without the symbols entirely. Iโm still not sure if Iโm 100% satisfied with the colors, so any feedback is appreciated!
