Anti wolf heck collar
âThe purpose of the collar is to protect the dog wearing it when it has to fight the wolves. The collar base protects the dogâs throat and carotid arteries, while the spikes are intended to deter bites to the neck or even injure wolves trying to do so.â

I remember a teacher telling me how Archaeologists would hack off the noses of statues they found in order to remove any indication that it was of a black person or any POC. It hurts me to think of all the art weâve lost and damaged because of historical revisionism and flat out racism.
erasure of ethnic identity in art is, in fact, a form of genocide.
Alright, because this shit has come back around on my dash, Iâll copy and paste the little paragraph I wrote last time:Â
Not quite. While archaeologists in the 19th and 20th centuries were quite racist and Eurocentric, they were not going around knocking noses off of statues. Most Ancient Egyptian statues were defaced (or de-nosed, more accurately) by other ancient Egyptians, specifically laborers who were attempting to exact some measure of revenge on the pharaohs and other leaders that these statues depicted. I say ârevengeâ because in the Ancient Egyptian religion, the soul (kaa) entered and exited the body through the nose, and a sufficiently strong kaa (like that possessed by a pharaoh or another high-ranking person) could even return to visit the land of the living by inhabiting a statue carved in their image. By knocking off their nose, these ancient laborers were denying their oppressors the chance to visit Earth again from beyond the grave. The Great Sphinx is another story entirely. According to Al-MaqrÄŤzÄŤ, a historian from late Mamluk-era Egypt, the Sphinx was defaced in the late 14th century by a Sufi (Muslim mystic) who was enraged by the fact that the ostensibly-Muslim people of Giza were praying to the Great Sphinx (supposedly, beseeching the mighty Sphinx for help controlling the annual Nile flooding).
FOR THE CULTURE. RIP BERNIE đ

Wage gap between blacks and whites is worst in nearly 40 years The gap between black and white workersâ wages is bigger today than it was in 1979
(but excuse me, i didnât mean to interrupt. please continue white people telling us how oppressed you are, how the odds are stacked against you and about reverse racism)
