this one's set in, i think, season nine? based on the fact that we were in the bunker, sam's haircut, and i think it was implied cas is human at some point. relevant to this also: sam was in his usual flannel and jeans while dean was in pajamas :) i love that symbolism regarding their different relationships with the bunker atp in the show. anyway, it's implied to be super early in the morning and we enter the scene from over the top of a desk in the library, the angle is a little lower than it Should be and it feels off, but not off enough to make a mental note about it. we're switching between this pov and other camera angles too. sam walks into the library verbally listing off the names of norse gods (i think. i don't know the norse gods so i don't know what my brain made up in their places. i just know that was the intent there) and a camera is following his direction from a fixed position as he walks into the library. we cut to a different perspective, a little higher that the previous one and we see dean looking groggy as hell in his pajamas and a visibly hot cup of coffee. he and sam are conversing about the information as if it's a case. we cut back to the lower than normal pov, this is where sam mentions speaking to cas, something something about his being human, but then you begin to realise this pov is handheld and is sort of following sam and dean as they spesk to one another. dean is kind of leaning on the desk, back to this pov, while sam is standing in front of dean so you can see his front profile. there's a reveal moment where they both look directly at the camera before it cuts back to what we now realise is sam's pov, because it's from a taller-tham-normal pov and the reveal is that the original pov is a fucking monkey in a little hat. like it's the fucking 1980s where they'd just Have monkeys in films for no reason lmfao ??
