February is finally done. Murag bag-o pa lang ko nag-post nga paspas kaayo ang January, mas paspas jud diay ang February. And now, first day na sa new month. So many things happened last month, and honestly, it was really fun.

According to my mood tracker, I had a lot of slow and calm days, and I was happier most of the time. Like wow, happy 😌

Last month na pud sa sem, yeeyyy! Murag mas excited pa ko kaysa uban nga mahuman na ang sem 😂 But anyway, I’m really looking forward to what this month has in store for me.

The first week of February was definitely a roller coaster of emotions, but one thing’s for sure—I’m really happy I finally bought this shelf, along with my stationery and washi tape organizers.

I can now see my entire collection of albums and books that I rarely read hehe. Every time I look at this corner of my room, it makes me genuinely happy and gives me even more reason to go home early haha.

Nine weeks to go and second semester is done. More time to stay at home… and honestly, I can’t wait 🏠✨

January is done and wow… unsa to oy 😭😂 murag trial version sa 2026. Murag one whole season siya, dili one month 🙃🙃

This mood calendar is basically my emotional summary in colors: greens ang pinaka daghan kay mao ni akong productive days (hala?? proud moment gyud ni 💚), blues katong normal lang nga “sakto ra” days, then grays kay kanang days nga survival mode lang jud—bangon, function, tulog. Reds were my super tired/sick moments (may gani less masakiton ko sa January, February ayaw jud ani palihug 😭), while yellows were those soft days nga naay hint of happiness, contentment, and hopeful vibes 💛✨ And surprisingly, gamay ra ang purple — meaning dili kaayo ko nagpa-dala sa pagka super emotional this month (growth?? char 🤣). One month down, eleven to go… padayon ta ani 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♀️

Still afraid at times, but choosing to take risks and enjoy life as it comes, without expecting too much from others 🤍

Stranger Things reminds us that the self is never created in isolation.

In Hawkins, no one survives the Upside Down alone—identity is shaped through friendship, loyalty, and shared fear.

Mike finds himself through connection, Eleven learns who she is by belonging, and even those labeled as “different” discover their worth through the people who stay.

The self grows in moments of support, in late-night bike rides, in quiet understanding, and in choosing each other when the world feels unfamiliar.

Life teaches us that who we are is deeply influenced by society—by the groups we belong to, the labels we are given, and the relationships that shape our sense of self.

Just like in Hawkins, the self exists within a social world, constantly forming through interaction, connection, and meaning.

Honestly had so much fun this week. Seeing my students and realizing we matched each other’s energy made me excited for what’s coming. Already looking forward to all the lessons and classes we’ll be doing this semester. Hoping we keep up with each other all the way.
