I reject the premise that trans women are the "main" targets of transphobia. I reject the premise that trans women are victimized more, worse, or more intentionally by transphobia than trans men. I reject the premise that trans men are only accidental or secondary targets of transphobia. I reject the premise that trans men are merely splash damage casualties in attacks against trans women. I reject the premise that trans men are only accidentally harmed by transphobia.
I should not have to post about transmasc issues with a disclaimer that "of course" trans women are hurt worse by this. I should not have to apologize for posting about transmasc issues instead of transfemme issues.
There is nothing accidental about transphobia. Every facet of it is intentional. Trans men are not bystanders in the genocide against all trans people. Trans men aren't accidental targets of trans genocide.

personally I am of the opinion that vegans who are like “the way our food system currently works under capitalism on a large scale is exceptionally cruel to all animals including humans and is not sustainable, so I’m doing what I can to make the most ethical choices available to me about what I eat and encourage others to do the same” are generally very reasonable people who I agree with in spades. but vegans who seem to think human beings are not themselves animals who are ultimately also part of the food chain but instead some kind of other paternalistic higher entity that can never engage in ethical and sustainable hunting practices (and especially the fringe I’ve seen who think other carnivorous animal predators are also evil and need to be eliminated) are people I regard as foolish at best if not actively anti-indigenous and racist

There's always a moment of intense cultural whiplash whenever I realize I'm talking to someone who thinks "legal" and "illegal" are meaningful categories and ascribes innate goodness to following the law. It's like meeting a space alien.
The reason why so many of y'all's feminism sucks is because you still believe deep down in your hearts that there are only two kinds of people in the world: precious, ethereal, fragile dollthings called "women", and violent, lustful, rage-fueled apes called "men". Until you throw that idea away, 3rd-grade-tier "girls rule boys drool, girls are princesses and boys are stinky :(" is as feminist as we'll ever get-- and I hope it's obvious that that's lightyears away from the bare minimum of where we need to be.

I think this is really awesome, especially the black albino Jason Grace portrayals I’ve come across. Putting this aside for a moment, we NEED to acknowledge albinism comes with permanent vision impairment, severe sun sensitivity and many other factors that i feel like people fail to consider when applying this headcanon to fan works. This disability requires lifelong eye care and stringent sun protection to prevent skin cancer, which wouldn’t be constantly available to demigods (and people in general, of course); when we think about Jason’s upbringing, not ONLY at the wolf house, but with his mother and sister, it is something that needs attention and a well done portrayal in fan work. I also don’t think it is a good idea to suggest some sort of magical demigod aid to “solve” these impairments IF they get recognized in fan works: it’s a form of disability erasure, I’ve seen this “trope” be utilized a bunch, not only in PJO fan works. Albinism shouldn’t be treated as this merely esthetic quirk.
Additionally, it’s not my place to say this, as i don’t have albinism, though hearing my albino friend share some of her experiences made me more aware of how this condition is often overlooked and misrepresented. That said, i think the headcanon has a lot of potential within accurate, respectful writing//creative work in general .
