“Had Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, not related to us the story of the people of Lūṭ, I would never have thought that a male would mount another male.”

Stand in your ṣalāh with your face directed to the qiblah, and direct your heart towards nothing else [other than the ṣalāh], how terrible of you that you don’t make your ṣalāh good [for it is] the mahr of jannah!

“Be patient and bear the hardship of life conditions and abstain from being with those whose (main) concern is worldly pleasures for your religion cannot be perfected except by doing so.”

“Whoever has wronged you and then comes to you apologising, humility requires that you accept his apology,

whether it is truthful or not, and leave what is in his heart to Allah.

A sign of generosity and humility is that if you notice a flaw in his apology, you neither expose it nor hold it against him.”

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“A man who weeps from the fear of Allāh will never enter Hellfire, unless milk could return to its udder. “

“If the human knew the pleasure of meeting Allah and being near Him, he would feel grief for being distant from Him.”

• Lack of success

• Corrupt views

• Blindness from truth

• Corruption of the heart

• Failing to remember Allāh

• Wasting of time

• Avoidance and hate by the creation

• Separation between the servant and his Lord

• Supplication not being answered

• Hardness of the heart

• Decaying of blessing in provision and age

• Prevention from attaining knowledge

• Humiliation

• Insults from the enemies

• Constriction of the chest

• Affliction with evil friendship, those who corrupt the heart and make one waste the time

• Prolonging of sadness and grief

• Miserable life

• and Disappointment

All this results from sinning and and neglecting to remember Allāh, just as crops are grown by being watered and are consumed by fire.
