NOSTALGIA

                      “I take responsibilities on what I’ve said.” 

             So my friends and I had agreed that I will solely talk to Ruru someday. So the time has finally come to an end or maybe the beginning?

             Late afternoon as we were sitting on the bench while waiting for the next class I insisted to my friends that if we saw Ruru passes by I will have the guts to talk to him. Sooner to that as a surprise he showed up in the hallway walking so perfectly. Then my classmate told me that it’s the right time now to talk to him. My body started to froze like dry ice. As soon as he walked so close my feet just won’t move as well as my body. He finally gets inside his classroom but immediately went outside with a paper in his hands. My friends are down because of the opportunity that fate is really giving. ‘Sige na Randel kaya mo naman yan! Fighting’ as these words are repeating inside of my mind. 

‘Sige kapag bumalik na talaga kakausapin ko na haa.’

‘Mudang dali na. Call~’ /as three of them wants me to do the real thing/

‘OK CALL~’  I answered them without any hesitation.

            As the clock ticks by and we know that anytime he’ll return to his classroom and without further ado he went back. By far I’d saw him --by means of his walk and body structure I know that it’s gotta be him. So my friends are rushing me to go now and go near him. My feet just turned into a bolt of lightning and hurriedly went to his place before he could end up going back to his class. Without any hesitation I waved my hands and said “Excuse me.” and his brows raised like /ano yun?/ then I smiled awkwardly. 

‘Excuse me. Anong pangalan mo?’ i don’t know why did i ask this one.

‘Louis.. bakit?’ he is fucking smiling. My inner self is screaaaming!

‘Ah wala may nagpapatanong lang’ and pointed out the direction of my friends and followed the direction where i’m pointing out ‘Pero what’s your full name?’ I asked him some dumb questions that I knew the answer right from the very start.

‘Louis Melwyne Monteralo Rubio’ OMG kumpletoo bes. Hindi ko kinaya kahit alam ko naman naaaa! Hahahahaha.

‘Ow ok’ while smiling.

‘Facebook?’ I was totally shocked for a moment.

‘Yes? Sure Why not?’ and he gave me his facebook account and evenly spelled it out for validation purposes. I said that thanks to him and headed back to my friends acting hoity-toity.

Him: It has been a long time isn't it?

Me: Probably, yes. How are you?

Him: I'm doing good actually. So do you have any suitors right now? or have you been in a relationship? (I guess you haven't)

Me: Hmmm. What a shocking questions you got there? (so intriguing) Haha. Naaah, I don't have time for that. Uhhm how about you? You had a girlfriend right?

Him: Hahahaha. It went too fast sorry. Aw okay. (smirked) ex-girlfriend to be exact.

Me: No it's okay. When did you-- (asked him out of the blue)

Him: Long story. (need to change the topic) If you feel alone then just call me (gives my number) or you could just pm me on my facebook. ok? I'll always be there (and patiently waiting until the time comes.) Bye I need to go.

Me: Okay bye. See you when I see you.

Everybody knows that I really like him. Well some, to be honest. Most of them are my lads. I had this dream earlier, a dream that is too good to be true.

The setting was in our house and in  my room. In my dream, I was about to wake when I hear a loud ringing of the alarm on a phone across to the other room (that room was my cousin’s in reality). So I stood up and went to the other room where I saw a man still sleeping beauty while the alarm was ringing so loud. He’s only wearing a black shirt and a boxer short whom I can possibly know that it was him. I was shocked and confused at the same time. I asked him ‘Anong ginagawa mo dito?’ but he only looked at me with his enigmatic eyes telling me to stop nagging bahblahblah and let him be. So I went downstairs and prepared myself. I had myself ready to go but I remembered him. I went upstairs to call him. As I was calling his name he murmured to me that we just need to sleep and cuddle each others body. I refused and pinch him at his cheeks right after that he stood up and I went downstairs. While waiting in the living room, he was holding his bath towel and suddenly a smirk on his face was shown by the light passing through the windows. 

I smiled. I am smiling even before I open my eyes. I touched my face and it felt warm. Because of that my day went extraordinary.
