This account will be used mostly to promote my upcoming books (namely the MoonPhase trilogy), share my fanarts, and to rant about random fandom things.

Alina Phuong is the perfect example of an eldest daughter. She is Student Council treasurer, honor roll student, and secretly the beloved superhero named Lotus. And she 100% has everything under control.

Except the fact her crush on the local rabbi’s daughter, Hannah Thompson, is growing exponentially and without warning.

Learn more about how these two work out (or struggle…) to deal with being a closeted couple. Also, throw in the fact that Virginia may or may not be falling apart from a new villain as we speak.

This is Rowan and Sophie from my upcoming debut novel MoonPhase. These two are side characters that really drive the plot forward, and they’re fun to write!

Rowan (in green) is a non-binary trans-fem lesbian, who is also the leader of a vigilante crew called the Rebels. They constantly put pressure on themself to be perfect.

Sophie (in pink) is a member of said group and is bisexual. Sophie tries hard to be there for everyone, but often forgets to take care of herself.

I love these two so much!!

These two are so dear to me. Jelani has never been in a relationship with a girl who truly loves him for him. And they typically don’t respect his boundaries either. He’s demisexual, and it was hard for him to make an emotional connection with anyone because they would all try to rush things.

But with Skylar, he is respected and his boundaries are seen and heard. She never pressures him or pushes, she is content just being with him.

MoonPhase is my upcoming neurodivergent LGBT+ superhero novel. It’s about an autistic trans boy named Blake Carter as he navigates life as a mentally ill teenager by day… and a vigilante named MoonPhase by night. At the same time, his crush Marcus Kumar is also keeping a few secrets. He’s the superhero Flame, and his mission? To arrest MoonPhase.

These two complete each other. Hannah makes herself small to avoid being annoying. Alina takes notice of her in her entirety and loves her anyways. No annoyance at all. Alina masks her emotions and puts pressure on herself to appear perfect to be likeable. Hannah sees what’s beyond the mask, and loves Alina even more because of that.

But they both have one major conflict:

Hannah is out as bisexual.

Alina is a closeted lesbian.

Yeah this was a self indulgent commission I bought from my friend bupidoodles on insta.

MoonPhase’s costume is very much inspired by Nightwing’s, specifically the slash of color across the collarbone. So I felt like these two deserved a drawing with each other doing a little team-up.

When making Blake’s costume, I wanted something that resembled the evening sky right as stars start to appear. Dark, with a few purple hues. I also wanted to incorporate his trans identity, so I made two lavender top surgery decals right under his chest.
