Alexandra's Writing Block

When it comes to matters of the heart, I seem to grow and learn a lot slower.

I keep putting my heart and everything into someone, when it should always be with me.

Or at least it should be with someone who can give back 50/50 or strikes a balance. Even if I keep pouring into someone who wants to return but can't so they just keep taking... its unhealthy.

After being away for so long (pretty much 2 years since dec 2021) I think I'm at the right headspace to reflect and write again. I think I'm ready to face myself and to explore life's quirks and precious memories and pains again. Or to build the strength to.

I might do a blog revamp a little while later. Have you all been well? I've missed you.

What does confidence mean? How should it feel?

Unblocking the heart and mind,

The past 2 years,

I'm learning to stop sugarcoating and justifying for others even if i seek from a place of understanding them.

Some things that happen are just plain terrible, but what matters is I'm learning from it. Or trying to- at least.

What I now know,

It was time to step out of the box, literally. (: I'm going to let myself feel again, write again- even if it really hurts.

I want to see a clear reflection of who I am and who I'm choosing to become.
