Made this one by accident

And for all the sprites, I made him comparably more fearful/panicky than Noelle. I think if he ever gets to have a weird route. It's his deep-rooted insecurities and the wish of being more than just a flower getting played on and manipulated. And it's not just simply getting stronger or stuff. Perhaps the idea of eliminating what made Asgore suffer from the roots was purposed to him, and the thron ring/Snowgrave equivalent here was the proof of it being possible.

He wants to do so much more than what he could for Asgore, he doesn't want to be a flower that can only do flower things. And even his moral conflicts with it all. The proof is undeniable, I think he would just repeatedly beg for confirmation from you, his leader, tell him what he does, is it going to work? Tell him it's going to work! That if you two stay together, he can do it for sure!

I also think it's like very easy to abort his Weird route. Lol. I think telling him the first "Stop" in his lake scene would just. Do the job. He would have a small crashout but gathers himself quickly and agree that yeah this is a stupid idea.

I think he'd have to accept the fact that Asgore has autonomy and can refuse his affection and other advances, but his sense of identity was based off of serving him and trying to make him happy, so he isn't sure what his purpose is anymore. What his sense of self is. Despite everything he says to Ralsei and being a direct foil for their beliefs, Flowery is a bit of a hypocrite!

He's trying to serve his lightner the best he can, to make Asgore happy, but the difference is that Flowery isn't forced/pressured into this like Ralsei is. He WANTS to serve him! He wants to have a purpose, he wants to live, he wants to be someone. He wants to be someone to somebody.

In this AU, I want to push that a little further and give him issues. LOL.

This part isn't too fleshed out, but I like to imagine that he deduces (or already knows) that Kris can't seal the fountain without the soul at some point, which makes him get the idea of trying to steal and trap the soul for his own selfishness, and leaving Kris & the party to scramble trying to get it back. Kris is weak without it and can't use any game mechanics, such as battling, without the soul afaik; which leaves Susie and Ralsei to take on the task of trying to convince Flowery to give the Soul back.

Meanwhile, Flowery has the opportunity to try and convince us as the player that we don't have to follow the prophecy. That the Soul can stay, he can entertain and keep things going on forever, we don't have to play by the "rules". Exactly what he says to Ralsei, but with us instead basically!! I don't think he'd be super aware of just how important we are to the prophecy though. It depends on if he thinks/knows we're The Angel or not, but it'd be interesting if he did! We'd be able to do some game-breaking things, I'd imagine.

Flowery is determined to stay alive as a darkner (plantner?), to keep him and his friends alive, and he may grow fond of the Soul after some time! I mean, it can't talk. But it DOES know what's going on, can react in its own ways, and interact with things around them. I think Flowery, being the way he is, would try to learn everything he could about the Soul, and grow more fond of us the more reactive and interactive we are.

Depending on who the player is, they can either let Flowery steal them away and not fight back, leaving the Fun Gang to try and get the Soul back on their own, or you can fight back against him and try and escape! Tom and Jerry style. This is Deltarune, after all, I truly think it would turn into some Looney Tunes shit and it makes me laugh thinking about it.

The other flowers, following in Flowery's steps, would probably try and keep you from leaving as well now that they've learned that the Soul is the thing that seals the fountain. Ensue various hijinks that could include bonding with them and learning more about them, having to escape various traps and rooms that are themed after the flowers, or anything else !! I'm leaving that open for various scenarios because it's more fun that way LOOOL

TL;DR- Flowery is determined to keep himself and his friends alive by stealing the Soul, forcing the Fun Gang to try and get it back. Everything else is up to player/reader interpretation to project and imagine what happens next because I like when people have their own versions of what happens. (having different routes, even.)
