As the kids say nowadays: I "Locked In". And made references for a new AU of mine! One where Balan decides that people hate his game because it's too easy, and turns it into a violent kaizo nightmare, not realizing that it'll affect him and Lance as well. Inspired not as much by actual kaizo levels, as much as the songs "Are you okay?" and "Miss Crazyspeed" by CosmoBousou-P.

Not sure if I'll do much with this AU, but I do plan on having fun with the designs, especially because they're very fluid! I honestly wouldn't even be opposed to other people trying to make their own designs for the maestros with this concept, I'm curious, even. And that's odd for me!

i am certain a lot of people today have no idea what ib is, and it's alright. it's pretty old, but it's one of my favourite rpg horror games. i was about the protagonist's age, 9, when i first discovered it. needless to say, i have not been the same since. but what has cause me to make this NOW? i have a bit of history for you

okay, i am VERY certain a lot of people don't know about sony sketch, even the ones that were old enough to live it. it was a drawing and images sharing platform blah blah blah, it's long gone now. i was able to recover one of my many drawings, this one with mary holding flowey in a pot

(these are the best conditions it can be unfortunately) I don't remember what compelled me to draw something like this, but I'm assuming it was just an excuse to merge my two pieces of media together. "she has a yellow rose and flowey is a yellow flower", that's all a little girl needs to draw something. i was very proud of it at the time, but it was destined to vanish because of sony sketch's shut down... or was it? this is one of the only pieces i accidentally recovered actually, but I'm happy i did

now that we have flowery and now that i rediscovered the drawing, i thought it would make much more sense for him to be depicted instead of flowey. why? spoilers for a 10+ year old game, but... much like flowery, mary is somebody pretending to be a human. she's a painting, to be exact. if i rewatch the gamethrough, i could tell you more. i don't remember ANYTHING!!!

also, i had this funny idea that flowery could essentially be mary's jojo stand. i am not a jojo fan but i know that stands are named after music stuff? because flowery's "jarona" is a reference to the song "my sharona", i guess it could work

got attached to this idea so concept of how flowery is able to live in castle town
