Pray that no heart ever grows attached to you

لگے تو اور کسی سے لگا ہوا نہ لگے

And if it does, may it not be tied to someone else

This savage heart has a desire;

آپ کے ہونٹ کاٹ کھانے کا

To bite and devour your lips

teri surat se hai aalam mai baharoun ko sabat

teri ankhon ke siwa duniya mai rakha kya hai

And then after مُحبت there comes a stage when they're in your duas. You want them, so you ask for them:

tu jo mil jae to taqdeer nigoun ho jae

youn na tha maine chaha tha faqat youn ho jae

And then there's a realization that no matter what, it's just you and only you:

laut jati hai idhr ko bhi nazar kya kijiye?

I am Aquarius.But don’t mistake that for magic.I’ve just learned to keep my hands in my pockets so I don’t reach for things that always leave.

They say I’m detached

sure.

I’ve been detaching since birth.Umbilical cord, lovers, cities, years.I don’t even flinch when people walk out anymore.I just adjust the silence.

I love like a whisper and vanish like fog.It’s not mystery it’s survival.

I think too much.Dream too loud.I carry the weight of people who never asked to be carried.And when I collapse,they call it my “Aquarius mood.”

I build futures in my head and destroy them in my sleep.I am the blueprint and the wrecking ball.

I often write poems for people who will never read them.

I’ve been told I’m cold. But cold is just what happens when you’ve been warm for too long and nobody noticed.

I don’t need saving.I need a cigarette,

a bad idea,and someone who doesn’t ask why I’m staring at the moon like it owes me an answer.
