crazy how rick literally made the peak demigod trio with the son of neptune trio and then had to push them into the background for the rest of the hoo series to let the quest drag out and seem difficult. give the son trio free reign of hoo without rick’s interference and they would’ve had that shit packed up in a couple weeks at most

It's genuinely funny to me how much of this series from Percy’s POV is him believing the gods despise him, but in reality that's his self esteem issues and inability to get social cues talking and his godly family actually adores him

i wish we could’ve got a scene of vengeful and angry percy on the seas. like i know we get it in tartarus and if you squint…he kind of does it to the princess andromeda? but i would’ve loved to see it on the sea. where like the argo ii is attacked by another ship. pirates that aren’t his brother or something. and after some back and forth he gets angry enough to stir up the sea and drag the ship down to the depths. but percy drowning and killing people on screen probably can’t go in a children’s book series. but still. i would’ve loved to see it happen. yes i’m listening to ruthlessness from epic where poseidon kills odysseus’s men. i want a scene of percy capsizing a ship and dragging them to the depths. idk. for me.

poseidon monologuing and getting lost in the memory of how fun and thrilling it is to capsize mortal ships and take their souls and percy feels that familiar stirring of how much he reveled in watching a goddess drown in her tears that percy held in her lungs……percy shaking his head and refusing to entertain that train of thought, calling it cruel and violent.

there should be an episode of mob psycho where an orchestra somewhere is panicking because their conductor has been killed by an evil spirit and reigan shows up thinking he and mob would exorcise the spirit but mob doesnt show up for his own reasons so reigan calls him while standing in front of the orchestra. Mob doesn’t answer so reigan goes on to leave him a very long voicemail explaining the situation but while hes doing so, all his hand movements make the orchestra think hes the replacement conductor. And so they start playing to his hand movements which results in a shockingly stunning and unique performance from this orchestra. People talk about it forever. It goes down in history as a moment that changed music forever etc etc
