Finn laughed as she scrunched up her nose, probably from embarrassment. “It’s not that hard to believe,” he replied, although Finn wasn’t sure if it was something she’d really thought about until it happened. She might have just never let herself dream that big. Although he was curious to know if this was what she wanted to do from now on. “Do you think you’ll keep doing it? You know.. after this one.” 

The answer to her question probably wasn’t what she wanted to hear, but he resigned himself to telling the truth. “I’m.. not sure,” he admitted honestly, almost regretting the words once they left his mouth. “But I don’t want it to be.” Finn knew that anyone who wasn’t them would see how disastrous it could be. Would be, probably. He listened to every word, his eyes dancing around her face trying to discern any extra meanings in her words. “This city is never as big as you think it is.” He now knew he was about two degrees from anyone these days. “I wouldn’t blame you if you did hate me,” especially for the act they were trying to forget. It was probably better if she did.

she scrunched up her brows as he spoke nodding her head a bit, “it’s very hard to believe i’m still trying to wrap my mind around it all.. like for once i have something good.” she said softly. she grew quiet for a moment as she thought on his question before she lifted a shoulder, “i mean maybe?” she started, “i always wanted to be on a stage performing or dancing i never really thought about being in movies or things like that.. but now that i am in one maybe?” she said softly as she looks at him. 

she waits for his answer every possibility of what he could say running through her mind, every outcome to what he says running through her mind but when he spoke her lips twisted a bit before she gave a small nod glancing down for a moment, “i don’t want it to be a mistake either.” she said softly before raising her eyes once more to meet his. she let out a light breath nodding along as she agreed with his words about the city being smaller than what they all thought before she sighed. at his final words she raises both her hands placing them on either side of his face, “finn.. listen to me okay?” she pauses starring between his eyes to hold eye contact with him, “i dont hate you. i should but i don’t. i hate what you did. you know me, when have i ever hated anything?” she questions to try and make a point, “yes there’s a very small part of me that hates you but that small part is being overpowered by everything else i felt for you.. if i hated you i wouldn’t be here.” she said softly as she continues to look at him, “i may never understand why you did what you did but i physically have tried to hate you but couldn’t. okay?”

“no consequences?” she purses her lips a bit before shrugging, “can i choose myself? because if yes then myself but if no, i mean they’re both great guys and two different guys where one half says choose finn and the other half says choose leo.” she sighs, “but purely because i don’t think leo and i would work out because we fell into being our childhood selves that’s all we’re gonna see each other as maybe, i’d choose finn because then i know what i’m getting into there.”
