I really like your song! It’s giving pop punk/emo vibes, very nice.
My feedback is this: I’d love to hear more of your voice! I feel the mixing is a bit off and the guitars are a little loud, so it’s hard to hear what you’re saying. However, that is common in early FOB and other similar bands, so if that’s part of the style you’re going for then keep it that way. :)
I did notice a vocal scoop/uncertainty maybe at the beginning of the word “air” (in the phrase “in the air”). That could also be the Melodyne/voice tuning software. I’ve had producers who just do a blanket “correction” over the song and then go back in later to adjust wrong notes, and I’ve had producers who just analyze the vocal line and go in to fix notes that are slightly sharp/flat. I much prefer the latter, as the former creates a sort of “autotuned” sound. Again, though, that is also a cool effect depending on the style of the song.

Just wanna preface this, I'm not very good with musical terms and I don't have much of a "musician's ear" if that makes sense. So if my feedback is unhelpful, I'm really sorry. I listened to Petrichor, and I think it's good. Although, I noticed that you have some kind of autotune or voice changer that becomes very distracting after a little bit. Best examples I have for that are at 0:11, 0:30, and 1:08. Honestly, it's pretty good for your first song. You should keep making more music.
I completely agree, my producer put a bit too much autotune for my liking but I felt too bad to say anything at the time when I should have. Going forward I'll change this. I do have a raw version of Petrichor processing though so it should be up soon! Thank you so much, too!
