. Bio: Born as a premature baby into a tense household of infamous spirit mediums, their childhood was never easy. Though their health issues partially were to blame for holding them back from opportunities they wanted to achieve for themself, it was also the strict expectations of their family to succeed in all areas of life as well. As they were born with great spiritual powers passed down through their mother's side of the family, they have been trained from a young age to hone in and grow their powers to help rebuild the damaged reputation their mother and aunt received from a scandal that happened when Elysian was a toddler. Combined with their parents not being particularly warm or getting along with each other, this immense expectation has led to great stress throughout their life. Rarely getting to make choices for themself, their only real joy comes from sleeping or going to school, where they have more freedom to explore and be themself. Due to being homeschooled as a young child and their only outlet being reading, they have become a naturally gifted student when it comes to academics and one who is always found in a library. Though their television time at home is limited, they have also found joy in some cartoons and particularly anime, having a secret fondness for cheesy action stories and a secret stash of shounen manga in their room. While their relationship with their parents is not the best, their relationship with their older sister is worse, as she always picks at Elysian's insecurities and points out their flaws, having always been bitter that they inherited spiritual powers when she did not. What does not help their struggles with stress and feeling like a disappointment is their gender identity, having never felt comfortable with feminine gender roles yet constantly expected to adhere to them, especially with it being drilled by their family as spiritual powers are only ever inherited by the women. Despite all their insecurities and struggles, they are a truly sweet person deep down with a quick wit that can either amaze you with its brilliance, make you laugh with its cleverness, or leave you shocked with its bite if you piss them off. They are more of a solitary person who does not try to make friends, due to finding it both difficult and to not have people involved in their home life, but will slowly let their walls down and warm up to people who have shown them great kindness and patience. While they do not like using their spirit medium powers outside of having to because of their family, they do take a greater interest in using them when greater threats start coming to Blackwood Institution in later stories.

. Physical Appearance: average height if slightly on the shorter side, soft and chubby build, medium brown skin tone, short and curly dyed golden blonde hair with teal and light blue streaks, medium brown eyes, ears pierced, prosthetic left lower-leg, a need for glasses but wears contacts

. Bio: Originally born in Indonesia, his birth parents did not feel financially or emotionally ready to take on the burden of being parents, especially to a baby born partially missing a limb, and gave him up for adoption soon after his birth. He was in the adoption agency for a few years before an American couple, already having strong connections with Indonesia through their work, began the process to adopt him while on vacation in the country. A long adoption process later, he was finally moved to The United States to begin his new life with his new parents. Due to missing part of his leg, it was hard for him to move around or walk during the beginning of his life so he took comfort in more "stationary" activities. His biggest interests were in writing and primarily music, partly inspired by his parents' professions of being local musicians and his own prowess for music magic, but he enjoys everything to do with them. He's pretty open to most music genres but a little more picky with literature ones, has made dozens of themed playlists and long stories, and is pretty decent at singing while being able to play a few instruments. Thanks to his parents having some recording equipment at home, he has also made a small channel where he loves to do covers of songs or storytime-type of content about his original characters. As a preteen was when he fully knew he was actually a boy, as before he could not describe the disconnect between what he felt like and what he was born as. That issue of identity was something he struggled with for a long time, not just with his gender but with other life things in general, and something that contributed to his mental health issues getting worse over the years. Thankfully his parents were always open-minded and supportive of any aspect of his life, and did their best to care for him and encourage him to explore what best fit with his sense of self and personal style. After an incident at his old school and his parents looking to move already, his family moves to the city where Blackwood Institution resides, where he felt hopeful to have a fresh start. Despite his struggles with his mental health and self-confidence, he is a highly creative and friendly individual who loves making new friends or simply talking and collaborating with different people. Out of the main cast he is the closest with Lacey, them both meeting in a music class one time and striking up a chill but exciting bond, as they have some similarities and common interests they enjoy talking about together.
