And so it ends... for now.
Well, it’s past midnight here in Spain, so the fated day has finally come.
And since nothing will be the same from now on... it means decisions need to be made.
First of all, I’m going to second the “Log Off” protest. That means that after this is posted I’ll log off and won’t log in again ‘til Tuesday morning.
Of course, I’ll still be fully available in other platforms which I’ll list once more at the end of this post.
But also, this will also be the last post of this blog. While I still want to stay on Tumblr to keep following those that will remain on Tumblr too, I have my doubts about my account being able to continue once the ban comes into effect. For that reason I’ve made the decision of creating...
That’s right. While I admit that it may be a bit silly to open a new blog right now given the current situation, I feel it’s the safest way to ensure I’ll be able to stay and keep following all of you who will keep wandering around this place.
The new blog is ready, but empty at this moment and will remain that way until Tuesday once I log in again. You can find my new blog here.
And what about this blog?
I’ll keep it open, at least for the time being and as long Tumblr still allows it to exist (of course). However, it won’t be updated anymore. I’ll still check out for new messages and chats, but I advise you begin following my new blog since I’ll eventually phase this one out.
It’s kind of sad to have to do this after having opened it more than seven years and accumulating 68449 post through all this time, but guess I have to be pragmatic. Shrug.
Alright then... where else can we find you?
So yeah, basically the end of an era and all that... Thankfully, and unlike previous times, it looks like this time everybody is making sure there are enough alternatives to still find each other whatever happens with this place. As far I’m concerned, I’ll do my best to not lose track of any of you I’ve met through these years here.
So, to anybody who’s reading this wall of text I can only say “thank you” for following me all this time, hope you’ll follow my new blog and we’ll still be able to keep in touch in a way or another.
