Hey y’all, I know I’ve been away from tumblr for … a REALLY long time. Life just kind of took over and I hate to put this out there because I don’t like asking for help but I’m just freaking out right now and some of the kindest people I know (aka my friends) have started something for me to try and help.

My dog, Max, that I rescued about two years ago is in need of surgery to save his leg after he tore the ligament that connects his hip to his knee. I’ve been dealing with this for the last few months with the vet to try and help it repair on its own but nothing has worked and yesterday it tore completely. He’s in so much pain and the vet gave me meds for him but he now requires surgery that she says will cost me $2800. If I don’t do the surgery, because of his size, they’ll have to put him down because it’s inhumane to make him suffer through the pain he’s in right now and, also because of his size, they won’t remove the leg.  

I’m of course going to do the surgery, but I was denied a credit/financing option because I don’t make enough money month to month and I have my school tuition payments so they didn’t consider me a good candidate for financing. The vet doesn’t do payment plans (around where I live there isn’t any centers that do payment plans) and the amount has to be paid in full by surgery. Tomorrow I’m going to try and find out if I can get some kind of a loan but at this moment, I’m completely fucking freaking out.
