Also, some people (in Tiktok mainly) insisting on shipping Alastor and Velvette... quote: "she was worried that the magic would take time of his life, i count it as a sign of love" and "i hope she will fall in love with him" to which replied with a pic of Alastor earlier from this chapter saying "good thing i love crushing hopes :D". Anyway.... it's just the radiostatic shippers in IF situation all over again.

i procrastinated and haven't done the next part, instead i updated prologue, first and third chapters of RotRD (Rise of the Radio Demon) and changed Alastor's monocle to be glasses LOL (also in prologue had a few especially goofy looking Alastor's faces redrawn). I'll update chapter 2 some time later too (i wanna get back to work on this comic, but i need more motivation, so if you wanna see it back i'd really appreciate some feedback under that comic too)

Also, i think i'm going to start working on Forced Broadcast now, and make that and RotRD main priority, since they're headcanons, and Breakfast is an AU, that i can continue any time.

Also, today i had a dream that we have a countdown to season 4 for some reason and it was 1247 days or something. So, um... sounds realistic, let's come back here in 3 and a half years and see if i somehow was right and i actually have futurevision.

also i spent like an hour organising the taglist, now from the desktop it should look nice, neat and straight (and no dead tags) (not perfectly straight, i'm not that ill, but no super big gaps either) (at the moment of posting) (does anyone do that too, or).

So these hc applies to both human and demon:

Carmilla,when velvette isn't around to do it,has three default three hairstyles;straight down when she feels lazy,pulled back(or horns in the case of demon Carmilla)when she's working,a ponytail when she need her hair out of the way and a braid when she's doing anything physical.

Velvette rarely lets anyone touch her hair. On the rare occasion she has it completely down,she lets carmilla play with it and even pick a hairstyle for her

At the beginning of their relationship they worried that their ages would get in the way with carmilla worrying that her being older would hold velvette back and velvette worrying she was too young and immature for carmilla

When it comes to hairstyle, Carmilla is very tricky. I usually draw her with her hair down bc the horns doesnt look good in my artstyle ! Like you said, she doesn't have a lot of hairstyle, but when it's tied up, I imagine her having a messy low bun instead of a ponytail ;)

For Velvette, I have so much fun with black hairstyle, she actually wears her hair down a lot (for me). Even tho the show shows Velvette with her hair almost everytime tied up, I like her natural frizzy hair sm I can't help but draw it 🫶🫶

Now for AU Velmilla,

The age gap was definitely something really sensitive. But in different ways that you could imagine.

Carmilla -> she does feel like she could hold Velvette back and she can think Velvette wouldn't truly enjoy her youth bc of her. But she's mostly worried about Velvette's true feelings not being love, but admiration mistaken for Love !

Velvette -> it's more blurry, and I don't have a clear answer yet. The age gap is not that big of a deal regarding Velvette's maturity and what Carmilla would think of her. Her anxiety made her question Carmilla's opinion on her a lot, but it would be more about whether Carmilla's feeling bored and not interested in Velvette or not, as she already lived a lot of things and is now focused on her already loved ones. She's also very aware of people's reaction on social media- just like Carmilla- but she trusts them to understand their relationship- unlike Carmilla who just doesnt care what they have to say, bc that woman's rich and she faced too many people trying to bring her down as a latina and lesbian in a male-dominated industry. Still, Velvette’s scared of what Carmilla would face when they reveal their relationship, the criticism and false accusations of manipulation and age difference that creates an unequal power dynamic (which is really happening in real life, don't get me wrong guys), and so can feel uneasy and unsure about Carmilla's willingness to got into a relationship with her thinking that Carmilla might regret it later on.

Also, Velvette's 27 y.o. Even though being an adult takes a long time and is not easy for a lot of people, she is far from being or acting immature ! She's a full grown woman. She also went through a lot of things, because having a character with no traumatic past ? Pffff, no thank you🙂✌️

To sum up, immature behavior or immaturity wasn't even thought about when I made their relationship :))
