One of my favorite things about genmui/muigen is the idea of Muichirou realizing he has a crush on Genya and when he considers how to woo Genya, he considers obamitsu, tengen/wives, and Amane and Kagaya cause they’re the only romantic examples he has. Which gives Genya a very confusing courting experience when Muichirou suddenly starts buying him copious gifts and grabbing his hand, kissing it, while murmuring affectionate names like “dear/darling.”
