Been playing the Monster Hunter Wilds beta a fuck ton, so I logged into FFXIV just to pose this.

Elftober 2024 Day 30: Cave

Figured it was time to introduce the daughters as adults over here.

On the right being hugged by Yugiri is her daughter, Shiori Rielle Mistwalker. Her surrogate father is Sidurgu, making her a Raen-Xaela hybrid. She is the elder of the two daughters by 17 months. She was receiving shinobi training from a young age, but when she turned 16 she awakened her own Esteem, and as a result she began walking the path of the Dark Knight like her surrogate father.

On the left being hugged by Shamagi is her daughter (and younger sister of Shiori), Shantelle Yunagi Windwalker. Her surrogate father is Estinien, which is made apparent by her silver hair (with red highlights from her mother) and her grey right eye (her left is turquoise like her mother's). She inherited the Echo and as a result is the next Warrior of Light as well as the heir to the seat of Azem. She also becomes the next Azure Dragoon.

Big secret: she is the reincarnation of Halone's soul. Not even she is aware of this, and without someone who has soulsight and knew the colour of Erinys' (Halone's) soul, it is impossible to confirm it. But maybe one day she'll find out that she's effectively a Jesus figure in the Ishgardian faith.

Shamagi is normally a back sleeper. The pointy ears aren't really conducive to side sleeping.
