And in a sense, she hopes they won't, for if they did, they would unravel the deepest, most well kept secret Gyokuen has ever had in her life, no matter who she was, who she is now, it doesnt' matter if they will find out, but they can't understand.

Because it would mean discovering just how weak she'd been once.                  And isn't it so utterly pathetic, to think she'd once been such a lovesick fool?

That she'd once believed in his words, that she'd once believed he was right and he could save the world. Foolish, so young and foolish she'd been.

                        That she'd once believed they all stood a chance.

Gyokuen doesn't have any mirrors in her room, nor in the vicinity of her domains, because, unlike foolish Koutoku who reveled in the lie that he was indeed someone to be remembered, she loathed the notion of recalling, of letting her mind wander through the darkest corners of her memory, because it almost hurt, to think about how foolish she'd been, how weak.

And she will claw and destroy and kill just to prove that man she isn't what she once was.

         Yet I do wonder, what will come out of this...after all, can you undo what has already been done?
