There’s not a word spoken as the large wolf curls himself around the little princess, muzzle pressed against her cheek before a tongue was passed through her hair in a poor attempt at grooming.

Giggles abound as a wet nose presses to her face, tiny arms wind as far as they can about her companion’s neck (which isn’t very far, of course, but one has to give her credit for trying).

Her happiness becomes full-on laughter as she feels something very damp drag across her cheek and through tousled locks. What is he doing?

There's fingers brushing through her hair, ginger and light, braiding brunette tresses whilst flowers weaved themselves through the locks. "What sort of flowers do you like, little dove?" He questioned softly, styling her hair diligently with a smile on his face. //From the forest deity~

“I love them all! The flowers you make are so pretty!!”

Little legs bounce against the stump on which the little girl is seated, just too full of energy to keep still. The forest man had asked if he could style her hair, and for that she had to keep still- but oh, how hard it is, when she wants to see!

Instead, Maire busies herself with the wreath in her lap. Maybe he doesn’t need one, but she wants to practice; she has to be good at this so she doesn’t feel like she’s hurt the flowers- though she also likes to hear him say how much better she’s gotten at it, if it’s okay to be a little selfish.

“It’s so hard to choose, but do you think you could do some daisies, please? I dunno why, but I feel like I especially like those today.”

Well… this wasn’t what he had EXPECTED to be met with upon waking.

His spirit had lied dormant all this time, only for the familiar sharp tug which tethered him to the never-ending cycle of spiritual rebirth to toss him back onto the land of HYLIA. Though the one he stood before was not an incarnation of himself, and instead… well, he truly couldn’t put a name to her, her back turned to him, effectively hiding her face.
