In the beginning, in the very very beginning, there was curiosity.

Cosmo for short. Cosmopolitan not for long. Before her loss, she eclipsed curiosity her brother as my muse. Her loss was cataclysmic for me truly I loved this animal and she loved me so much. I promised her time and time again I will keep her safe did you need not worry I still don't understand what happened bobcat got the drop on her with a belly full of kittens. I learned around the same time that the coyotes keep track of the due dates of these cats, we can't make so much noise when they're meeting but it's easy enough to start counting do you know what day it begins but they kind of know exactly how many days it is until they give birth and they come in force they know if they catch a cat unawares she can't climb a tree or they catch her just after she's given birth at a minimum they get the kittens these cats are not just predators. They are prey. And as far as the classifications of predators go cats are not hunters. Cats or catchers. They do not pursue anything. They do not track, with that tiny, dainty nose of theirs. They catch. They sit idly by amusing themselves until somebody happens by, purely accidental. But, when it happens they are so fast and so definite in their seizure, that very few are so lucky to drift into and then out of the reach of a cat..
