First is that ummm, I think Kai and Bonnie had potential like really. Man there is something, especially with this new Bonnie.

And secondly, Man!!! Caroline and the way she has control. She really kept it together of course until Stefan had to try his best to ruin it. Can't blame him though.

In the first chapter when Adrian asked that story based question, I never took it for anything or merely just a way to know if she is good as a person.

But now I think it was more related to his own life. Like he needs people who are not greedy for gold and immortality that he has immense as he knows what that can do.

The crying and even the change in tone and not being able to explain yourself without raising your voice can be from built up frustration that can build when you are not allowed to let it out in any way.
