The intereface: Apple music was truly an opportunity for apple to separate its music offering from itunes and create something unique from scratch. I have seen people claiming itunes to be one of the best music organizer available but i disagree. Frequent prompts to enter icloud password are annoying. I have not encountered this issue with spotify’s app. Apple should figure this out soon. Also, personally I like spotify’s interface better but that varies from person to person so its not really a deal breaker.

The selection: I listen to hindi music and Spotify seems to have more and better selection of music compared to apple music. This doesnt mean spotify has all the music I’m looking for but It seems to have more recent music than apple music.

Social: Spotify has first comer’s advantage and people have already created playlists, following other’s playlists and have been sharing music via social media. Apple music should be offering compelling features for others to leave spotify and switch over which I dont see happening unless there are some improvements in Apple music.

Syncing issues: Even after selecting make available offline, Sometimes the songs wouldnt download. “It just works” often doesnt really work in this case.

Finally I was able to finish the Duolingo spanish course. It took me longer than I expected to finish this course. For practice I've been listening to Spanish FM stations, watching movies on Netflix. I don't understand everything but I am getting there slowly.

If you have tried learning any language and wasn't happy with the design of the course, I'd suggest to check out duolingo app/website. here are some of the reasons why its unlike anything on the market when it comes to language studies.

- Its ad-free, bs-free. No hidden charges to unlock special lessons or remove ads. Its has its lingot money though which you can earn by completing lessons and use it in various ways throughout the apps. No real money needed ever!

- Beautiful UI. Easy to complete small lessons in a tree like format. Finish as much as you like and see your progress in a understandable manner.

- Discussion. - You can not only ask questions but can award much valued linguist to best replies. 

- Learning by helping - As you move towards completion, you can choose to help translate english to Spanish or proof-read someone else's translated text or discuss that text. 

- If you are still not convinced, here's one more reason: The dueling team has great sense of humor. the pic below on their Facebook page says a lot.

Before I could post this, the pebble time - kickstarter is fully funded. That's impressive but I feel pebble needed kickstarter more for marketing than for money. 

This is really sad. 

5 ways apple can revolutionize the car technologies

1. Design - Apple Designer Marc Newson has experience working on car designs (shown above). The car project started about a year ago (Early 2014), and Marc Newson joined Apple in Sept 2014. 

2. Fuel -  Considering that the rumor says its going to be electric car, this is one area where apple could struggle.

3. AI - It will be self-driving for sure but how intelligent it will be is only time will tell.

4. Connected - Siri, CarPlay, Navigation, iTunes + Beats audio.

5. Sensors - Lots and lots of sensors to open the gates to identifying the vehicles.
