okay so like they're REALLY emphasizing the evil alchemy now and it's basically by going "rather than just being add-ons to chemical processes that already exist, it is now something that does not make sense that comes to fill the absence of something" and this probably has to do with balance, since chemistry and alchemy are mainly abotu balancing things. i presume when using alchemy to try and balance something out, whatever is used for balancing is not Normal, and thats why Weird Shit is happening.
okay so prima materia is clearly like "good, pure" form of something but when imbalanced too far, it becomes corrupted into mutare materia which is "impure, corrupted" and im guessing the things to balance are the DPHW, death, pain, helplessness, wrongness. when those fall out of balance you end up with more mutare materia or something like that???
i wonder if the college of few alchemists are meant to be the magnus institute in this universe??? or the OIAR but i doubt that, i think it might be the institute.

but wow yeah we got a lot more about the alchemy side of things i was hoping we'd get more answers to that! so i assume the archivist got stronger and came to balance out celia in the TMAGP-verse and now that sam is in TMA-verse thats why it's followed him there to balance out his presence? and i presume this archivist is made of mutare materia, probably more extreme than the externals?
