I love how purple and red look so elegant together rather than simply cute or sweet. There’s a hidden depth between the two colors, something intense yet refined, almost like they were never meant to stand alone. Red carries passion, pride, and power, while purple feels quiet, melancholic, and graceful. Together, they don’t soften each other; they enhance each other’s presence.

Akashi is the striking crimson, commanding, overwhelming, impossible to ignore. Ishida is the muted violet, calm, gentle, and easy to overlook at first glance, yet filled with emotion beneath the surface. Their relationship isn’t loud in a traditionally romantic way; it feels restrained, mature, and layered with unspoken feelings.

When red and purple meet, it creates something that feels almost twilight-like the moment between day and night, warmth and coldness, authority and vulnerability. There’s elegance in their contrast, but also tension, as if both colors are constantly trying to understand one another without fully blending completely.

The reason why she's so bright is because she's only Seijuro's imagination after her gone. The petal is part of her body slowly drifting away. Behind him is something like a black particle indicating the ashes—dust from the war, the moment of her death that still haunts him.

The cherry blossom represents "new beginning", their first encounter was underneath the cherry blossom as it was supposed to be their new beginning after they changed for each other. Ayane was supposed to be his "new beginning" but it faded like her.

Seijuro's body is burning and fading away, that's the Hell Fire a spell that k*ll them. He held her as if this was their first and final wedding. She wore a wedding dress not just because of the story behind it but because it represents their sorrowful wedding.

(No they were not really getting married. Someone let her wear it to taunt her and Akashi since she mentioned it would be an amazing experience to wear it one day. She was held hostage.)

Red roses represent deep love but weddings mostly use white petals, the color of the rose is deep red (a bit lighter due to the lighting) as it represents blood–Akashi's tragic ending.

In the two stories, two couples place their hand on their lover's cheek but this time it's different, both of them place their fingers on each other's lips together changing the pose. On the other stories, the ones that leave are the ones who touch their partner's face with the same pose, now this universe, they broke that as it indicates their different—elated ending.

Akashi x Ishida VAMPIRE AU

This AU is inspired by TVD. It's been years I've finished watching the series, suddenly my feed started popping a lots of edits of my favorite ship in the series and got me inspired to make this.

Seijuro became a vampire thousands of years ago—Heian period. He once belonged to a noble clan, unfortunately the clan had severe illness that spread through the family. A woman who's a Yamauba offered them to help cure the clan, the Akashi clan accepted it not knowing it would bring a curse. From there on, the legend of the vampire began. Seijuro was 26 when he got turned and was the first one to become one. Years passed by, they live in a remote area—a castle where no one can find them since people started hunting vampires and it became a legend. Seijuro and his family from the main branch weakness is a dagger made with obsidian, while the other members of the clan from the branch family are a wooden stake through the heart and decapitation. Vampires cannot control to suck the blood from the person they're attracted to even if how strong they are. A spell called "Hell Fire" can kill them but only the descendant of the Yamauba who turned them can cast this spell.

Not all members from the clan are treated equally, even though they’re all technically part of a noble clan.

The Akashi are divided into two branches:

Main Branch:

These are the “true” elite of the clan. They hold authority, inherit leadership, and are treated like high nobility within the clan.

Branch Family:

Still part of the Akashi, still respected compared to ordinary people—but they exist to serve and protect the main branch. They have less freedom and status.

The main branch has a ring that can revive them if it doesn't destroy. The ring can also be melted and can be drank to another vampire to take the owner of the ring's power. Only a witch can revive it.

He has a younger sister named Sakura Akashi, they both don't get along well. His mother Shiori Akashi, though a vampire she's gentle and prefers to drink an animal's blood, this made her power weaker. His father Masaomi Akashi, they both are alike from their traits, they don't get along very well. Seijuro had killed his father but didn't destroy the ring.

Seijuro can drink/suck other vampire's blood. The main branch has a resistance of their bloodlust.

Ayane Ishida descends of the Ishida bloodline, born in the wealthy household. She's currently in her 20's and a second year college student studying psychology. Her first encounter with Seijuro was when she accidentally bumped into him, from there on—since centuries, Seijuro never felt this way towards a person, when he first laid his eyes on her, the time seemed to stop or the world went into slow motion. Desire...love?...
