I know explaining a joke isn't funny, but if you aren't familiar with Brazilian or Mexican culture, the dialogue is a parody of El Chavo del 8, a TV show in which there's a couple that, everytime they met, they forget the world around them and spend a while staring at each other like fools (just like Jellal and Elza, hah). I know this might just look stupid to everyone else, but I still wanted to share it >.<

Even by not being in the guild that long (being in and out of it) and not knowing the full details Laxus knew 🤣

I found an old sketch of them in my stash of sketch papers. I thought it was cute and thought to digitalise it. It was very short too, idk what else to add. (But maybe with the recent ft100yq ep, I will use that as reference hehe)

When I was younger, I used to hate romance in fiction (for a variety of reasons). Erza and Jellal, though, were the first love story that managed to touch me and make me cheer for them to be together. Many years have passed since I first read Fairy Tail, and I'm now a lot more open to reading romance, but these two are still my favorite fictional couple ♡
