As a special note, the endpapers were done traditionally with pencils. 😊

It was a great pleasure and honor to create an illustration for the German edition of The Knight and The Moth by @rmgillig.
I absolutely LOVE the book, so I wanted to create a cover worthy of it.

I will make a proper post for The Saint of Steel illustrations later, but for now here are some sketches and close-ups <3 After reading books, I convinced my editors to change their armor to how it described in books, so paladins on covers have chainmails and tabards! Just on the covers for Paladin's Strength and Paladin's Faith the armor is different because of the plot. Also, I spent too many hours painting Stephen because he deserves it, yeah.

Thank you for informing me. I use nightshade/glaze on most of my new artworks, but I think I forgot to do this one or skipped the glazing because of the amount of post-distortion and artifacts. But I see that, at this point, I should just close my eyes on the artifacts. Fucking AI cockroaches

This year I will bring a selection of archival quality prints in different sizes. To make it more convenient for you, here are the prices:
A6 card - 5€
A4 print -20€
A3 print - 35€
A2 print - 50€

- A lot of you were asking for smaller prints so this year, instead of A5 prints, I will bring A6 cards that you will be able to buy separately or with the small wooden stand for display. Small cards are also archival grade quality, on the same paper as the rest of the prints.
- I won't be having any bulk discounts this year because of the production costs. BUT... And this is a special event for people who actually read what I write here 👁️👁️ I will gift a small A6 print to people who cosplay Ghost from Call of Duty.
Why? Because I'm running on 1 hour of sleep and monster energy, and it sounds hilarious right now. 🧍🏼
You can also find an unattended Ghost and bring him to my booth to get a card. And because there is always a TON of damn ghosts around the festival, I will take a pic of each Ghost to make sure that y'all ain't cheating ☝🏼🧐
One card per Ghost. And if someone already brought the same one before, you lost your chance 🗣️
And you also have to show me this post. I won't be mentioning this to any unaware Ghosts.
Overall I will give away up to 7-10 cards in this event.
- Also just for fun if you bring me a sword (a metal one) you will be able to exchange it for anything you want from my booth. Because I want a sword but am too anxious to commit to it myself, so I will accept it as a quest trade.
I will edit this post or add a comment if I end up actually getting a sword so you won't bring a second one, although it would be quite hilarious.
