Okay bird nickname for Hawks to give to Abiteth (kotori is actually super cute...):

Nightengale ("uguisu")

Songbird ("kotori" <- also means "small bird; little bird" OR "meikin")

Canary ("kanaria")

Finch ("benisuzume" <- "strawberry finch"; this one is kinda LONG)

I think I'm leaning more toward "Kotori", or "Kanaria" myself... OBVIOUSLY I can have him use the English word but since I'm trying to write both CNCT and CAS with less English nicknames and more Japanese nicknames, aside from the way I know Hawks and Abiteth shorten each other's names, THIS IS WHAT I GOTTA DO!!! (I regret not doing that for STIL....)

Deciding that in CAS, Hawks and Mirko had a little something going on but it never got very far because they're both more focused on their hero work (understandable and supported by canon - LIKE THEM AS CHARACTERS BEING MORE FOCUSED ON HERO WORK, NOT BEING IMPLIED BE FWB OR IN A RELATIONSHIP I MEAN). So when Hawks comes across Abiteth initially (aside from like, seeing her in ads, or on billboards, y'know the "aware of a fellow hero but not yet having the chance to MEET that fellow hero"), he technically uses her as a rebound.

............ this also may NOT end up being the case, but I think it's kinda sweet because he uses it as a counter to her telling him that he deserves better than her (this also happens after she gives birth to Nikkou... and was actively changing her penthouse to have as much if not even more plantlife than her home does, because Hawks commented that he missed how much "life" was at her home and YEAH ANYWAY I'M RAMBLING BYE)

I was today years old when TikTok put a video of a dad instantly getting him and his wife's newborn child to stop crying seconds after he started talking because he would talk to his wife's pregnant belly/the child before it was born...

And now in my OVERLY EMOTIONAL STATE I'm thinking about Hawks saying, "you're not mine, but I hope you know I'll love you anyway" to both Nikkou, and then Tsuki in CAS while Abi is pregnant with them.
