Safety Precautions with Penetrative Sex Magic (nsfw)
Quartz and tourmaline points, as well as other gemstones that grow in phallic shapes, should not be put into the body.  Ow ow ow.  If you have one that’s smoothed out into a softer shape, research that stone before doing anything with it.  Malachite, for example, is copper-based and is therefore dangerous to ingest (anywhere).  Even if your stone phallus, smooth without any edges, seems safe you should still put a condom on it.

The vagina ends, stuff can’t get lost up there.  The rectum doesn’t end.  If you put anything in there, make sure it has a flared base so that it doesn’t - literally - keep going up. Â
Do not put water, salt, animal or plant matter in either the vagina or rectum.  A garlic clove placed inside the vagina helps clear up yeast infections, so that’s a safe option.  Also, CLEAN sea sponges  are safe to insert into the vagina (they’re also great, reusable tampon substitutes)
Use lube.  Just use it.  I’m always a fan of water-based simply because I know so many people who are allergic to silicone, but if you’re using the water element then hey that works!  Warming lubricant, water-based or silicone, can be used as a substitute for cinnamon and pepper; cooling lubricant as a substitute for mint and eucalyptus.
Coconut oil can be used as lube, I wouldn’t recommend any other oil and don’t use it if it’s scented/infused/whatever.
If you insert the bottom end of a lit taper candle into yourself, research what it’s made of and how safe that might be first.  Put a condom on it, and light it AFTER insertion.  DO NOT LET IT BURN DOWN
