I Ain't 'Fraida No Ghosts

One of my very favorite humans celebrated her birthday last week, and it hasn’t exactly been her best one— so, consider this my @elialys appreciation post. If you have been following her blog recently, you know she could use some love right now. 

There has hardly ever been a more beautiful human being to have ever walked the Earth, and although I can produce TONS of proof of this, one need not look much further than her stories. 

In my opinion, she is the most gifted and upcoming writer in the Doctor Who fandom. There is absolutely no one who writes emotions the way she does- so tangible and grounded.

Without further ado, here is my rec list:

1) The Trickling Down the Hourglass series. This is in my opinion her very best writing. Start with “Calluses” and work your way through. It’s Tentoo x Rose and absolutely gorgeous.

2) Chasing the Aurora. This is her WIP. It’s Ten x Rose and Tentoo X Rose, and Donna is along for the adventure. It’s brilliant.

3) A Scatter of Echoes. Get your heart broken then put back together again.

4) Across the Void- Rose finds her way back. I LOVE THIS STORY!!

5) A Leap of Faith. Post Satan-Pit gorgeousness.

6) The Horizon Hides You in Vain Dark!Doctor, he goes back in time to get Rose.

She deserves every recognition she’s ever gotten for her fic, and she also deserves all the love in the world for her role as a friend. I love her with my whole heart, so when her morale is boosted, so is mine.

I’ve seen this story floating around on various rec lists recently (or talked about in fandom chatter), so I thought it was time to read it. I’ve been kind of listless in my fanfic reading lately, and this was a WONDERFUL fic to jump start my enthusiasm for it again.
