We can’t talk in specificities, like trauma happens in an instant. No, it’s not something that happens to you. It’s something that keeps happening. 

I know what my grip looks like on a doorknob. I’ve made decisions before.

Mask, suppress, spin around. Turn the dial on your mechanical heart. Slow the pace to barely breathing. 

I saw a hallway and walked into it. It’s not the event that scares me, it’s how far I’ve fallen. My deliberation. 

When I turn around I see my face. Letters echo from my mouth, they say 

The you inside of you is soft and can’t handle the outside world. The you inside of you has wants and needs the outside world can’t provide, accept, or understand

You said, retreat. You didn’t say how far. 

At the end of an endless hallway we find other people. We grope at each other in the dark. 

Sometimes I picture your face and only see your hands. 

When I hold your wrist I can tell what time it is. And I think I’m falling back into my body.

I don't know if will you mind it , but I save your every written proses and poems , your writing touches my heart and are my everyday inspiration to write even more better .
