There is no denying it has been an unprecedented few weeks in the wedding and event world. As a planner, it is my job to think of any eventuality and plan for it, but even after more than a decade working in the industry I have never come across anything like recent events. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ First and foremost my thoughts are with anyone affected by COVID-19 and I hope everyone is well and taking care of themselves and their families. Our health and well being is everything. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Amidst the current concerns and guidelines over social distancing and mass gatherings, here in the UK and overseas, as well as global travel restrictions, there is a great deal of uncertainty and overwhelm around how this will affect weddings and events and of course concern from couples and anyone planning to celebrate a special event in the near future. I am working closely with all our couples to discuss their circumstances specifically, as well as with venues and suppliers, and keeping up to date with industry developments to ensure we move forward in the best possible way.⁣⁣ ⁣ For anyone who is thinking of planning a wedding or event in the near future, but concerned, please feel free to contact us and we can discuss the best way to move forward including increased flexibility in terms of our current booking policy. Or if we’re not already planning your wedding but you just have concerns over your wedding in the near future, you can contact us for free advice. These are overwhelming times and if we can help in any way then we will. Happy Fourth of July to all of our American friends. This photo is part of the entrance to a wedding we planned at a private property in the beautiful New Forest countryside for an American / English couple. A true mix of nationalities and influences, including a Rwandan dance troupe and some personalised guest details sent all the way from Hong Kong. A magnificent celebration complete with quaint English church, epic marquee on the most stunning private property, and fireworks I still remember crying to alongside the most wonderful team of suppliers. Being a planner I get to see many happy couples and wish them congratulations. I know how important marriage is and how much joy it can bring because I’m fortunate to be married to a wonderful man myself @dunney2.
