I had this drawing done since last month, but I decided to finish the few details I had left and finally upload it. I just felt like drawing these two sillies together 😙

I think it’s incredible that this drawing is my first post of the year. The truth is that I’ve developed anxiety about posting my drawings and about drawing in general 💀

Anyway, I wanted to make merch of them because I liked both movies!

I came up with this kind of silly idea: Sissy suggests a photoshoot where Nubbins wears Drayton’s outfits… but it all goes wrong, because he gets it into his head that the photo would look much better (and more realistic) with the trophy 😅 And that’s even though Drayton has told him a thousand times not to even think about touching his precious trophy 😤

I know he wins it when Nubbins is already dead, but for me he’s not dead, okay?! 💔

I can't believe this silly thing took me so long 😭 I want to make more TCM stuff because I love them so much, but I'm so slow at drawing 💔

With this drawing, I’m starting a new chapter in my art. I’m saying goodbye to all those random lines I used to throw into my drawings, even though I loved them, they were just way too much work 😮‍💨 I felt like I needed to simplify my style more, because otherwise it gets really hard for me to stay active on social media 😭 And honestly, I think the result still works really well without them ✨

This character belongs to @Monstuwitos. I made it for her anniversary collab on her Facebook page. His name is Méiyou Zui, and I honestly really enjoyed adding little details that represent him in the drawing ❤️‍🩹
