From now going forward I'm going to be prioritising people who have shown interest and actually have written things up between the two of us (be it a meme reply or an actual starter). Everything else will go into queue or reply as I have leftover spoons.

He seemed proud. Pleased of himself in only a way that Angel Reyes could understand or comprehend. It was the way the gears in his head churned, made sense only to him and in his sage old ways he'd never explain it. Maybe it was his way of flirting --- with someone he'd sincerely fucked up with, of course. It wouldn't take the usual Don Juan methods of smoldering and simply being (the way the girls at the clubhouse pawed over him, bickered amongst themselves when he chose who to pay special attention to.) Rose knew Angel, the way he worked, they'd seen that gimmick.

It took something new, now. Like schoolyard teasing. If her hair was in pigtails, this was Angel tugging them. Pushing them into the dirt. Being cruel because he couldn't convey proper emotions.

"Run's postponed 'til the end of the week."

Smug. He moved his leg far-enough that their swipe at him missed by a long shot.

"Just gonna have to put up with me a few more days, chaparra. You know you love it."

Plumes of smoke left his lips and nose. He settled on the garage stool more, feet planted hard so he wouldn't roll away.

"Way to pretend you didn't hear the rest of it."

not everyone is going to like you and the faster you come to this conclusion the easier you will find your time on this website.

people will talk behind your back: let them because if they can’t say it to your face clearly it’s not important. some people aren’t worth convincing. 

someones dislike towards you does not determine your whole worth & it’s important to remember that.

someone you may know will block/softblock you: no matter how much you’ve done for them, been there for them or shared with them, unforunately, it’s best to let them go.

it’s not your duty to impress others: do things that you find productive for your enjoyment online & offline tumblr. 

you may not always fit into a group: but that doesn’t make you any less adored or respected. 

being selfish is okay: especially for your own mental health as long as you’re not putting down others. 

you’re going to have bad days: never let someone in this community make you feel bad for them.
