Could you write about going to the beach with trevor and you're family?
I didn't know what kind of family you were wanting, so I went with sister/nieces and nephew
“Braeden!” Your sister yelled to your nephew who was already knee deep in the water. “You need to get sunscreen first!” He ran back to his mom as the group of you, your sister, Sarah, her husband, Josh, their kids, Braeden, Scarlet, and Ava, and of course your boyfriend, Trevor, sat your stuff down and spread out the blankets. You hung back for a second. Trevor wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his chin on your shoulder. You leaned back into him.
“Thanks for coming, Trev.” He gave you a squeeze.
“Anything for the kids, baby.” You looked back at him and made a face. “And you, of course.” You smiled and kissed his cheek.
“You better be.” He laughed, dropping his arms from your waist and went to help your brother in law get the umbrellas set up.
“Can you hold her for a minute?” Your sister said as she walked over to where you were standing.
“Yeah, sure.” You held your arms out and took the youngest of the kids, Ava so your sister could put sunscreen on the other two children. You adjusted her hat so the sun was out of her face. Setting her on your hip, you started to help unpack the cooler.
“Alright, ready to go!” Sarah said as she patted both Braeden and Scarlet on the back. She reached for Ava but you kept her.
“Take a break, Trevor and I will watch the kids for a while.” She gave you a grateful look.
“Oh, hun, are you sure?” You nodded.
“Yes, you guys go take a walk or something. We will be okay. Trevor’s great with kids.” You looked over your shoulder. “Aren’t you, babe?” Trevor looked up from the cooler he was rummaging through for a drink.
“Yep!” He yelled back. Sarah gave you a hug and called for her husband. They talked for a second before hugging and kissing their kids and saying they would be right back.
As soon as their parents left, the kids ran under the umbrella to where Trevor was sitting.
“Uncle Trevor, can you come in the water with us?” He looked over at you with a shocked face. You smiled widely back at him. The kids had known him for a while now, but that was new.
“Uh, yeah. Let’s go.” He followed the kids down to the beach.
“I’m Uncle Trevor.” He said quietly, but very excitedly as he passed you. You let out a small laugh and went to sit down under the umbrella with the baby. After putting an extra layer of sunscreen on her just in case, you sat cross legged and sat Ava in front of you. She was entertained for a while, but after the fifth time you had to crawl across the blanket to get the toy that she threw, you decide it might be time to walk around. You got up and picked her up before walking towards the water where the other two children were taking turns being thrown into the shallow water by Trevor.
“Can I join the party?” You said from the shoreline. Trevor turned towards you with his arms out.
“You wanna get thrown too?” He said as he started walking towards you. You took a few steps back.
“Baby!” You warned. He laughed and turned back to the kids. You set Ava down and held her by her hands as she stood just close enough to the water to get her feet wet. A bigger wave splashed her upper legs causing her to start screaming. Trevor’s head whipped over to the two of you and you quickly picked her up.
“Oh, okay. Not a fan, I see.” You bounced her to try to get her to stop crying. You gave a pleading look to Trevor. For some reason, when it came to Ava, he had the magic touch. He came out of the water and took her from you, giving you a kiss on the temple as you switched positions.
The water was colder than you would have liked, but the kids seemed fine.
“Okay, I can’t throw you as far as Uncle Trevor, but I can try.” You picked up Scarlet under her arms and threw her as far as you could. In between throws, you looked over to check on Trevor. He was sitting with his knees up. You couldn’t see her, but you guessed she was balanced on his legs. You gave a soft smile before turning back to the kids.
After a few more turns for each kid, the three of you walked back to the blanket.
“You guys have fun?” Trevor asked. Scarlett and Braeden both replied excitedly as you got their snacks out. You gave them each theirs before sitting down next to Trevor. He opened one of his arms.
“Sit down, baby. They’re okay.” You sighed before doing as you’re told. You leaned into Trevor and he wrapped his arm loosely around your hip. The two of you talked with the kids about how much fun they had and not too much later, Sarah and Josh came walking back. They thanked you profusely as they checked on the kids.
“You are officially off duty.” Josh said as he took Ava from Trevor. Trevor unraveled you from his arm and stood up. You gave him a confused look.
“Good, because I’ve been wanting to do this all day.” Before you knew what was happening, Trevor scooped you up and started running towards the water.
“Trevor!” You yelled, but it was useless. You hit the water with a splash. After resurfacing, you deadpanned at him. He was laughing. You got out of the water and jumped on him, causing him to fall backwards into the water. As you both came up, you stayed there for a second, just soaking up the moment. You leaned up to give him a quick kiss.
“Love you, baby.” He said.
“Love you, too.” You looked at him sweetly for a few seconds before dunking him underwater. The war had just begun.
