My children and I lived under bombardment and aggression. We had a safe home full of dreams and a bright future for my daughters.

But everything changed when the war on Gaza began. Our house, which we built with strength and effort before the war, was destroyed. 😭😭

I lost our job, which was our only source of income. The journey of displacement and moving from one place to another began without the minimum necessities of life. We faced difficulties in providing healthy food and clean water. We lived in fear and terror. My daughters could no longer sleep from the intensity of fear.

. We are now without shelter, moving from one place to another, and struggling to survive. Today we have no income, no life, and no work. We are determined to rebuild our dreams, secure our future, and rebuild our home. We cannot do this alone and we need your help in building our lives. Before the war, our life was a beautiful and stable life. My husband and I used to go to work every day and return to our beautiful home to make us feel the warmth of our family. My work and my husband's work were destroyed and my house was completely burned. It became completely empty and there was nothing in it and it was vulnerable to accidents. Everything we used to live in was destroyed. We have lost our past. And our future became only in our memories. These are pictures of my house before and after it was burned.

We were displaced from northern Gaza to the south, and now we are next to Rafah in a small place that is not suitable for habitation. I do not know what to do. There is no food, no clean water, and no medicine.

My husband suffers from a skin disease called psoriasis and needs constant treatment, but the treatment is not available.

My husband's treatment costs $100 per month (136 Canadian dollars).

My son needs surgery to save his eye, which, without proper medical attention, may lead to disability. We are seeking support for him to receive the necessary surgery abroad.

The surgical procedure costs 2000 $ (2733 Canadian dollars).

I feel completely exhausted because there is no ointment or treatment for them. I feel restricted and unable to move.

My husband and I, after losing our entire future in Gaza, decided to escape the hell of war and start a new life that our children deserve in a safer and more peaceful place .

Traveling to Egypt costs 25,000$ (34,162.5 Canadian dollars), and to start a new life there, we need 50,000$ (68,325 Canadian dollars) including traveling, accomodations, treatments, medicines and living expenses.

One morning, on October 7, 2023, we suddenly woke up to the sounds of rockets and artillery. We quickly ran, wondering what had happened and what was going on. At that moment, we didn't know or understand anything. I took my wife, my sons, and my daughters, and we left the house—the house that I had built brick by brick and spent my whole life working to create. We left with only the clothes we were wearing, without taking any of our personal belongings. The most important thing in that moment was to save ourselves from the death that surrounded us from every side. We moved away a little, searching for a safe place.

We moved away from our home, which was completely destroyed, reduced to rubble, and buried under the debris. All of our belongings, our possessions, even our memories were gone. We never returned to our home.

Since that day, we have been displaced, moving from one place to another in search of safety. Now, we live in a tent that doesn't protect me from the summer heat or the winter cold. It's extremely difficult to find food and drink because they are scarce, and we don't have the money to buy them at high prices. We also struggle to get clean water, and we have no clothes, no shoes, and no medicine. We are deprived of the basics of life and the simplest necessities.

We lost everything—our home, our jobs, everything. We can't even sleep because of the constant shelling that never stops, falling on our heads.

Our lives have truly been destroyed, without us committing any wrongdoing, and we have no connection to what happened. We are not a party in this conflict.

It is the evil people who start wars, and the innocent who pay the price. 😥
