Happy International Women's Day! Here, Margo is holding a sign that translates to "We want us alive." Every Women's Day, I'm reminded of this quote and how upsetting is is to know that female genocide is completely normalized.

A week ago, I started therapy after a year and a half of not going. For some reason, I've felt a bit weird talking about my dolls to my friends. It's not that I wanted to, but some of them have made some really upsetting comments. I act like everything's fine. But it's not. I'm really upset but in a way, I feel like I'm doing the world a favor. Has anyone else felt this way?

I'm officially 22 years old! It's kind of weird to say this but I've been collecting American Girl dolls for almost a decade at this point (I started in 2014.) I'm beyond grateful for every single one of you and here's to more years with dolls!

I wanted to follow up on my previous post. Lately, I feel as tough there aren’t a lot of folks IRL I can say I heavily rely on. And as much as I wish that said thoughts have changed, that’s far from the truth. If anything, I feel a lot worse. However, it’s relieving that the dolls have always been there for me. They’ve seen me laugh, cry, lose everything and gain it all back... they’re my true ride or die. I can’t begin to explain how important they have become and how much I’m grateful for every single one of them.
